Default Golf MK4 2.0 help!

Hey guys I am a new member but not new to drivng VW, and I am looking for some help and advice. So I have a 1999 MK4 2.slow and I am looking into Exhaust, what would you recomend? I dont want something loud, but I want something deep. I was looking into magnaflow. Also what else can I do that will help increase HP thats not to expensive? I wish I had a turbo but being a broke college student I just couldnt afford it. Any ideas? Also my blinkers go way to fast and I have tried replacing the relay and every bulb I could think of. I have after market headlights would that be the issue? I am also have MK5 front and back seats, will these fit in my MK4? or if not how hard is to make them fit and how do I make them fit? Thanks guys.

You can get a cold air intake, that'll let her breathe easier make it a little louder, but not ricey loud. As for exhaust brands, there are tons of different brands out there. Go onto youtube and look up different exhausts for the 2.0. Sound clips, it'll let you know what sound you're gonna get, as for power, they'll all give you the same increase relative to size (2.5" will give you the same power as any other 2.5") etc. You do drive a 2.slow, so anything you do won't give you much power, turbo'ing it is useless, just get a 1.8t if you're gonna do that.

For your seats issue, whats wrong with the mk4 seats? I think they look better personally.

For your blinkers issue, are they all working properly?

I've heard good things about the Ansa Silverline for the 2.0. It's 2.25" stainless steel, mandrel bent cat back system. Not super loud but give it a moderate aggressive sound. At about $350 for the whole setup it's about all you want to spend for an exhaust on a 2.0.
