Got a 2003 Jetta 1.8T

Sup guys I m new for here. Nice to meet you all.
however I hv a stupid question to ask.
I m wondering wat is the break-in period of VW 1.8T jetta?

Got a 2003 Jetta 1.8T

what the dealer told me when i bought my GTi is to drive it like you'll drive it everyday. the reason is if there are any faulty parts in the engine, it will show early, and your engine will be use to what abuse it will get.

Got a 2003 Jetta 1.8T

I was told 1000 miles. this allows the seals and gaskets time to get properly set before you put it to high stress. just keep it under 3K and you should be fine
