Default headliner complete!!

okay so i finished my headliner!! woooo!!!

it was sagging before, so i took it to a upholstery shop and they quoted me $200 for REPLACEMENT fabric, and that was only the roof and the sunroof door. not the pillars. bump that..

it only cost me around $150 to do it myself.. woulda been $100 but i had to replace the dome light cuz i broke it trying to take the faceplate off of it -__-

so i got 10 yards (in case i screwed up) of fleece fabric from ebay for 70 bucks.

3 cans of headliner spray at 12 bucks each.. i was very generous with it cuz i didnt want it sagging ANY time soon.

here are the results

oh and sorry for the bad quality, these were taken with my phone..lol

not at all. i just glued a large piece of fabric over the door, and carefully cut the holes out for the handle to fit in..

it took alot of patience and precise trimming to get the handle to fit back but it wasnt that hard.

and i just folded the excess fabric around the sides.

this is the only pic i have of the door.. hope it helps

I just wondered about getting the door out mainly. Sounds like it can be a bitch. Did you follow XxBORAxX's youtube guide?

I'd like to attempt it one day myself, I just haven't looked for fabric.

haha thanks guys, and yea it definitely makes my car seem smaller. but its alot better than the beige.

and yea i used xxboraxx's video for guidance. the sunroof door wasnt that hard to get out at all.

if you plan on leaving the door out of the car for a while though, make sure you re-attach those white clips he talks about...

i made the mistake of leaving them off, and then it rained... my back seats were soaked.
