Default HELP EPC light on!!!

i went for a drive today the car ran good after about 15 min my epc light came on and now my car wont go past 2200 RMP and also my check engine light is on??

please i need help i just bought my vr6 less than a month ago. im kind of new with the vr6 stuff before the gti i had an audi a4

ok i got it scanned and got the code P0321 anyone knows what it could be??

Was there any description with the code? I would get it VAG-COM scanned at the nearest VW mechanic because especially with EPC they give a somewhat detailed description of what the problem is.

P0321 is Ignition/distributor engine speed input cicuit range/performance intermitent

thats what the description was

Yeah that's definitely something you're gonna have to take up with a garage. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself.

ya for sure. i mean for me when the epc was going off and my check engine light was on, it was my mafs. i had to buy a new one. buying a new one changed everything back to normal. at the time with those two lights it could have been the mafs or the throttle body needin to be cleaned. good luck man! i hope things work out for ya
