Hello,

I have a 2001 Jetta 2.0. I have a rattle in the right rear of my car when driving over small bumps, I only notice it when I am not on the highway. I have replaced my shocks, coil springs and my axle support bushings but the rattle is still there. What else could it be?

I am stumped, please help me.

Much appreciated for your time.

Edit: another topic, didnt want to post 2 threads. I dont have a lot of power, when I hit the gas and my rpm starts going over 3800rpm I lose my acceleration power, what could that be?

Sounds like clutch slipping. 2.0s are extremely slow anyways. Also, be sure you are tightening the square bracket that the bottom of the rear strut bolts into. A lot of times the box is too big for the bottom of the strut and doesn't squeeze it tight enough, resulting in a clunking. So really tighten it a good amount.
