I was drooling on a thread all day and found this.
Looks like he cut the oem bumper mid grille out and matched the cut into the 4motion valance. Sanded the valance smooth and molded it into the bumper, color matched. Threw on a black FMIC with black pipes.
I REALLY Like this set up. Think I'd be able to make it as a complete amateur?
I want it either way, just if I can make it myself that would save a ton of cash.
Whats the requirements. Lots of epoxy, fiberglass?

You're going to be kicking yourself when you start scraping it and it cracks and you're shit out of luck cause you molded the lip to the bumper. Looks awesome though.

Any bonding material I can use to avoid cracks. Like some heavy duty epoxy and using lots of fiber glass strips instead of bondo.
These bumpers are pretty flexible. As long as I'm not smashing it all the time I should be okay.

That plastic wielder is awesome but it's a 500 dollar tool.
Think I'll go poly flex and fusor. Can't do it till I get a black FMIC though.
Anywhere I can get just the piping for a 1.8t then I can just throw any FMIC I want on?
Or anyone know a kit with a black front mount?
I much rather buy one already powder coated.
I love how his is big enough to be mistaken as the grille from a distance. I'll have to do some measurements so it looks like that.

that bumper is a standard bumper with a painted 4 motion valance molded and then haggard to accomodate the poor fitting fmic. then flared to match the fenders.
