Limp Mode????????

so my car is in limp mode. can it come out of limp mode and go back in because sometimes its slugish and boosts like four pounds but one time it went back up to eight and then now its back at four and i have heard that is one way to tell its in limp mode?????????

you could reset your ECU... disconnect your battery and let it sit for like 20 min but if its going into limp mode ya may wanna run it on a vag com to see why

Are you sure you're in limp mode?

After you turn your car off and back on again it should reset the ECU and not me in limp, if you are indeed in limp mode....

Are the cycles just when you are driving?

yea the cycles are while im driving. the check engine light is on as well but has been for a while and it just started doin this. the check engine light came on when around town there was some shitty gas that went around to the 76 gas station i fill up with premium but the gas was a shitty batch i guess it was on the news and stuff but i never did anything about it and when i start my car up it runs ruff for like 10 seconds then its fine could that have anything to do with it
