well, i open my car door, put my keys in my car and get out to put window washer fluid in it and close my door, the doors automatically lock and now i cant get in my car.. is there anyway to unlock my doors through my engine haha? can anyone give me some help
try another mark4 key...not really sure how mark 4's are? but i know when i locked my keys in my mark3 we used another mark3 key and it opened right up
my pops gave me a ride down to the auto shop and they lent me the slim jim and i got it out. missed work though. oh well. and as for spare key, lost it at a golf tournament. haha thanks guys, your the best
at least it wasnt still running, i had a 240sx with an sr20 that had a turbo timer. i got out locked my doors and the key was still in the ignition. i thought it was on the timer, talk about lookin stupid.

some guy did that where i valet but his car was in the middle of the pull u area so i had to back every other car down till AAA came
My buddy locked his keys in his 300Z constantly!!! He finally put in a relay switch for the power locks, tucked under his driver's side skirt. It was simple to put in, it would pop the locks but his alarm would still go off, but once inside with his keys he would just disarm it.
If your Mr. Forgetful, think about this mod. I don't know if it will work on VW's, but it's worth a shot.
