The past couple of days I have noticed while coming from a stop in first gear, right around 3k rpm it feels like the turbo just stops working, but i will still accelerate and it isnt rough or a missing cylinder. the engine still runs smooth but it just feels like the power cuts out. could this be a clutch problem? The car WILL still accelerate, just at a slower rate. only happens in 1st gear though.
So i took it out this morning, and it only happened on the first time i pulled out of the driveway. I watch the boost gauge go up to 0, then drop to -10 in Hg when I felt the power loss. Is there a thread on how to pull codes? BTW I just put an OEM diverter valve on and took off the BOV.
Took it to Auto Zone and it had NO CODES. It really doesnt feel like that big of a problem as far as the amount of power loss. So... not really sure where to go from here
this same weird loss of power feeling happened to me in first and second. only for a brief second. when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? it could be clogged with shit.

Not sure, as I just bought the car. It came with a short list of things that had been done. (timing belt, water pump etc) but no record of fuel filter. The only reason i think it WOULDNT be this, is because i can see the drop of boost in the gauge, and a filter would be more of a stutter/miss feeling, just from what i have experienced in previous cars.
Im running 93. The ESP light is constantly on, and I have looked into that but since it didnt throw a code on the test I wasnt really sure what to think. Guess I shouldve mentioned that earlier..
i also had my esp light on for a while but it went away and never through a code. is it because your traction control is off? or does pressing the traction button not do anthing?
