Default Made it 2 weeks with out a CEL!...but its back

CEL came on yesterday after a for the most part trouble free 2 weeks of driving.

P0507 Idle air control system rpm higher then expected- rpms are about 200rpms higher than normal, but it got to a ridiculous 2k earlier, and likes to fluctuate.

p0300 Random cylinder misfire this one caught me off guard. I hand't noticed it happen.

The first code I think could be related to a vacuum leak because I noticed Im not holding boost like previously, but its hard to tell right now because my boost gauge took a crap yesterday too. That gauge has been in maybe a month. I want my money back!

Coil packs go out quite often, could be that for your misfire. You may want to look into upgrading your coil packs to hibatchi or audi tt.

The idle if its hitting 2k it sounds like there's something going on with your throttle body. No reason it should get that high unless it's open a little bit.

Check the conection on the boost gauge. Maybe the line came loose or broke and is causing a vac. Leak.

Already went over the vac lines for the gauge. No dice unfortunately. I should be able to just pop off my line from my intercooler to my intake manifold to see if the throttle body is slightly open right? A TBA should hopefully take care of that if its the case right?

If its just off calibration that should do it.
If it's faulty then requires repair or replacement.

Yep you can slide the inter cooler piping off and shine a flashlight up there if you want, only takes a minute.
It doesn't have to be open very much to make a constant 2k rpm though. So I'm not sure how noticeable this will be. Guess it's worth the inspection. Maybe it cant close from carbon build up but it sounds pretty unlikely.

If its not pouring rain tomorrow Ill pull off the pipe and see whats going on in there. Really hope that it just isn't going bad, that's a nice chunk of change.

Havent checked out my throttle body yet, but just a quick update. I found if i tap the gas a little when it is idling really high it will drop down to 1100. To me that would seem to support the throttle body diagnosses that was sugested.

You could try and disconnect your battery for about 15min. Connect it back up and turn the key to the on position and see if the throttle body aligns itself. You will hear the sequence. Turn the key off then start it.

Alright fellas i feel like an ass but its fixed. I looked her kver again on my lunch break and noticed this time around that the vac line from my manifold to my fpr had popped off the manifold. Guess i didnt notice it last time around, but everything is back to normal now.
