Default Mini Van Window

I was thinking about making my side window in the back to open like mini van windows. Since my baby didn't come with a sunroof i would like to get some more air into my car on these 90' degeres days. How hard would you think this would be? Has anybody done this already?

There was a thread about this a while back. Think everyone agreed it would be rather hard and expensive for the small amount of air that you'd actually be getting. Try searching for it, I'm too lazy to.

I know it wouldn't be worth the price but how much do you guys think it would cost to have a sunroof installed? Or the sunroof like the supra has

Don't install a sunroof; you've got a weight advantage right now without the sunroof...

I have no idea how much it would cost you to install, but your best bet would be finding a wrecked GTI and take the entire roof off and have it welded to your body. That will cost ya a good chunk of change though...

Good luck!

i know a couple of people who had sunroofs put in their cars. and from my experiance they all leak. if it didn't come with it just leave the roof alone. even professionally installed ones ended up leaking.but it wouldn't cost that much to have one installed.

The mini-van windows idea would give you TONS more air flow. My brother has a 1986 Subaru GL hatch with windows like that and i'll tell you this...his car has so much more air flow than mine it's not even funny. But, It does sound very costly.

what would happen instead of doing the minivan window, and taking your rear window, and making it power... so you can let your car breathe more.. just an idea, and not sure how costly it would be... but just an idea
