The way your PCV system works is the fumes from your crankcase that carry oil and other deposits are forced up and back into the intake tubing and the valve cover gasket. The excess oil and other material is burned which isn't necessarily bad for your motor but it's not good either. A catch can runs in line with your PCV system and vents crank case fumes and filters out the deposits and sludge that comes up through the PCV hoses. The benefit of this to you is cleaner intake tracts and cleaner intercooler hosing and other boost lines. For the price they're offering this one for it's a great idea.

The lower hose is a bitch and a half. The rest is easy.
