I've got the stock lamps on mine and the covers have gotten so filmy that they're practically useless.

How tough would it be to install these on a VR6, I'm not especially handy, but I have relatives who are, so on a scale of 1 to 10, how hard is it?

The easiest part is the install, aiming them is a bitch though. There are DIY's for them on VWVortex look there for it you just have to take off the bumper.

I followed the DIY (which I'm recommending him to look for) and it wasn't that bad. I'm saying now from experience i for sure wouldn't say it's difficult at all now I can take apart my bumper and take out a headlight in 5 minutes.
