I was wondering Which way is better painting a hood hang up or laying down

doesnt matter really. its easier to spray upright like a refridgerator.

doesn't matter. but to me its easier to just throw it on a horse in the booth as it sits on the car. it also works in your favor because its a little harder to get a run with it laying flat

true. never had issues of paint running. just like spraying doors or the side of the car. but it makes sense to spray it like it sits on the car.

ya. i just normally spray it that way cause its easier to setup. i spray doors and fenders the same if they're off the car. its just easier than hanging them to me. i don't have issues with runs unless I'm doing a full car i might have 1 or 2 if its a big car.
