Which set would you restore first?

BBS would be restored to merely sell or run as my winter wheels again.

X5s still need adapters and tires after they are reburished, so they will not be on the car until spring either way.

I think that i may start the BBS first, then x5's by March.

Thoughts?

If they wont be ready for spring anyways, refinish the bbs and sell or run for winter while you gather the funds for tires and adapters. Or sell bbs for that money. Either way, bbs first.

BBS refurb has begun:

Tools used.

Stripped a couple and broke on bolt so I have some fun ahead of me.

As you can see, I began to drill the head out of this one. May need to go a different route though.

JUST LOOK AT THOSE BEAUTIFUL LIPS ON THESE! Thanks Illinois weather and salt trucks.

a couple Broken bolts were expected, but the stripped ones are what really bother me. I am going to have to have a nut welded to the head and pull them that way i guess. not very happy about that.

Hopefully i can get the remaining wheels seperated as they now have an additional day of soaking them in PB Blaster.
