Default something wrong with my jetta..

how you doin..umm i dont know whats the problem because im new to jettas.i have a 1.8t 2001 jetta with around 120ks.and yesterday i drove it fine everywhere i went.today i drove it to go work and everytime i shift da car on nuetral to stop on a red light or stop sign da car would turn off.i dont understand why. can someone let me know what can be the problem.thanks im Max

no the check engine didnt come up.i wud turn da car back on n da engine wud sound normal.maybe about 2 times wen i had 2 hold da key in a bit longer cause it wusnt starting up. but i would ride and once i shifted to nuetral da meter wud fall down to 0 n car wud turn off.

sorry im new to this jetta stuff im not understandin what you mean..what motor.i got a 1.8t jetta i think it says suttin 20v.also ders this light in tha dashobard.its a circle with these to lines something like this (0).i think you understand.what does that mean?

is that the traction control light? i think that might be the asr off, but i dont know what it is.

take it to a dealer my friend!

It might be the English filter, or my guess the grammar controller.

Read your owners manual and see what the indicator means, if all else fails, do what they told you and take it to a dealer or a mechanic who knos VW's.
