If you have to pull on the handle so hard before it engages perhaps there's too much slack in the mechanics of the door handle.

it does it from the inside or the outside. as if sopmething in the latch is hanging up. i oiled the crap out of it and still didnt get any better. i was gonna try to adjust the cable but that only works the outside handle so i kinda ruled that out. im going to try to move the sriker pin around a bit and see if that helps any...

If both handles connect to the same mechanism it could be on the other side. It's a triangle.

ya lost me on that one sir..ill be trying to adjust that little thiongy insdie the outer handle..that the cable is hooked to. hopefully it wont come off and all inside

Yeah that's what i mean haha

There might be slack in the mechanism where both handles connect to the unit.

yeah its funny..sometime itll work fine for a few days and then itll stick. you need to pull on it maybe 15 times. i oiled it much as i could and it works and it dont. i aint got into it yet...
