Default suggestions on traveling across country.

What would you suggest to get done to a car if its driving from cali to tampa? its a 1999 passat.

get done to the car? if it ran with no prob just change oil duble check tire pressure make sure ur car is leak free of any thing, really if u trust ur car or ur car hasnt had a problem for a long time then just run with it and if it does some how break down just make sure u have AAA on hand

Make sure your belts are in good condition. A broken belt will stop you for awhile.

i am thats diffrent trip, g/f is driving from cali to tampa shes moving here she has a 99 passat. i have the 03 1.8t.

How many miles should we be able to safely cover in the car before giving it a rest? we were thinking 16hrs then resting for 8 then 16 back on then resting then back on again for the rest.
