Dont use that line.

Cant tell you a damn thing with the information provided. 1.7" in the front max unless you get a swaybar or end links. Depends on tire size and offset. Drops are aobut the number of inches, its about what looks good and getting the perfect stance.

He said he wants to go almost 2" lower than stock, that can easily be done with coilovers. And how would pictures help here? We all know what lowered Mk4's look like...definitely no need for air suspension for <2" of lowering.

Exactly, most coilovers for MK4's will get you just as low as most of the airbag set-ups available(in the states )I know I'm well beyond a 2" drop on my car If you are gonna go real low you must address the swaybar rubbing issue and even(in my case)the occasional axle hitting the subframe issue. Really the only true advantage of bags over coils on MK4's is the on-the-fly adjustability you get with bags. Both will lower the car about the same.

on 18's u better run a real low profile tire....i understand the no pics but the point is with pictures your question is answerd a whole lot faster rather than people having to ask for more info that could have been answered if the pic was there..

thats why u fab the lower and upper mounting point on the bag set up..with the kits from the states...will layout way lower than coilovers, but regardless bags are not the issue here listen to them.
