I have a '03 1.8T Jetta that has spung a leak!!! Anyone ever have water mysteriously enter your car! Only on passanger side carpet is damp front and back!!!
No obvious leaks from door/window seals. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks. JP |

do you have a sunroof? The drains can become clogged and back up in behind the trim, or it could be a heater core if it looks smells like coolant.

I do have a sunroof...I'll check.
I did notice the drain tube thingy (lack of better term) inside the passanger door near the door hinge was clogged. I squeezed it and a buch of water came spilling out. I then checked the driver's side for the same issue and it was clear. So the water may have been backing up from that train tube and spilling over into the cabin. I'll give it a thorough shake down to see if that was it. Thanks for the help! |

I used an air compressor to blow out any debris from the sunroof drain. I'm not sure how the water leaks out of that tube and into the car, but I'm hoping that it stops leaking now that I cleared it.
I plan on triming the flat part of the drain tube to prevent it from cloggin again. Thanks for the advice |
