I'll start.

Picked up some C5s earlier.
Was thinking of doing this to the center caps. It's REALLY easy to do. Just do a little bit of cutting with a saw and sand them down. The wheel and center cap will be white. Have my eye out for either chrome or red lug nuts when I do it. Is that too ricer? hahaha

saw that on vortex too. i like it but i dont. if i had an extra set of caps i would do it.

I was thinking I snag some on Ebay and see how it goes. Since they'll be white anyway condition doesn't matter that much, as long as they sit on the wheel.

I've only got three of them right now, so I have to buy some anyway or run completely capless.

not sure how i feel about red lugs or chrome lugs.

If its not black or clear on my car it's red.
So it would go with the scheme.

But generally red caps are all over ricer wheels. So feeling iffy on it. One way to find out, I'm sure they're cheap as balls.

ew that metallic red anodized crap is ugly.

so im debating about doing a feeler thread for the works wheels.. trade only.. feeler thread. just to see what offers come my way.. id take a set of amg monoblock 2 piece... oz futuras (keskin kt1s are the reps of them), tracer tech 9's (mam mt1's are reps), bbs rf's, or something other interesting.. still up in the air about it though.

i want another set of staggered 2 or 3 piece wheels.. 2 piece only if its one or two types.. otherwise 3 piece.. and theyd have to have adapters / spacers with tires and be staggered in mint shape.. to trade for the works wheels.

Shame, a theme can go too far. Same as a color. Keep it simple and sporadic IMO.

too much of something can become tacky... less is more.. as some say.. i tend to get on board with that theory alot...

thats why the green stayed under the hood.. and didnt carry through the whole car. if its to loud for me.. i close the hood.. and i dont have to see it every day. but at a show or in a line up with cars with hoods open at a meet and greet etc.. its eye catching.. and always makes people have a double take..

see if you cant retrofit some VW logo in the center cap, otherwise I'd go with gunmetal or standard chromies, colored seems a little euro trash--maybe if the wheels matched the lugs?
