they break from hitting crap. most oem wheels will bend. rotas explode. my keskins are like clay. the metal is so soft. thats the big gripe about them.

Don't "drift" them in the snow and curb the shit out of them then haha.
Na I know a guy with a tdi, bbs. cracked all 4 barrels BAD, hit a gap in the road car bounced, bye bye wheels. City wouldn't pay for them. Sometimes you just get unlucky.

They're one of my favorite sets of wheels but I don't think I'd ever rock them. And not because I'm afraid. I just think they are a gti wheel.

You would not have any issues selling the tarmacs if you end up not liking them, just get em. Hell, i might take them off your hands in a year.
