I should grab them and paint them yellow. Or Paint the C5's yellow.

I want yellow wheels to match these lights now.

Maintenance and bills first

Default Suggest a tire size

Hello >

I just purchased a 2002 1.8T in great shape. I slapped my winters on the original 15" wheels and now just purchased a set of Voxx Arrays 347 17" x 8" 40mm.

I know a good size tire would be the 225/45-17

but I want something a little more beefy.

Tire Size Rim Sizes Price
225/45R17XL ( 634x225, 25.0x8.9 ) 94W 17x6.5 to 17x8.5 $126.82
235/40R17 ( 620x235, 24.4x9.3 ) 97W 17x7.0 to 17x9.0 $133.46
245/40ZR17 ( 628x245, 24.7x9.6 ) 91W 17x7.0 to 17x9.0 $140.19 Was thinking these for Front
245/45R17 ( 652x245, 25.7x9.6 ) 95W 17x7.0 to 17x9.0 $144.69
255/40R17 ( 636x255, 25.0x10.0 ) 94W 17x7.5 to 17x9.5 $145.05 Was thinking these for Rear

I'd go 235/40 at the biggest for a street tire. Only time you really need to go any bigger is if you're racing it. Your car will have plenty of traction with 225/45, and 235/40 is just over kill for a stock car.

So Since no one wants my wheels and I dont have money for a new set, looks like my RCs are getting powder'd or painted black.

heres a quick Pshop rendering and even the ol' lady likes it
