hi guys .
im trying to sort my partners beetle 1.6 petrol .it has started doing some weird things .
during winter the esp light and engine managment light started to come on and go off intermittently. It was still running fine so she just kept driving it .
It has recently strated to be difficult to start again if it is driven for 10 mins from cold ,then switched off.
Ihave plugged in VAG program this is what im getting
FIRSTLY IN ENGINE SECTION -
2 DTC's Found:
16500 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Implausible Signal
35-10 - - - Intermittent
16825 - Evap Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow
35-10 - - - Intermittent
THEN IN ABS SECTION -
1 DTC's Found:
01314 - Engine Control Module
013 - Check DTC Memory - Intermittent
Iave erased all codes and lights have gone off ,but i think they will be back on again soon .
She also thinks shes using a lot more fuel .(altough that may be because she keeps forgetting to go into 5th )!!!
Any help really appreciated
