well theres now bora section so im just ganna post here, is there any real difference between a bora and a jetta? im asking because i saw i think like 2 or 3 "bora's" in canada and i wasnt sure if they just slapped a badge on there or not. cuz people do that back here in the states quite often.

i know for sure theres a difference in engine choices man. The US jetta offers the TDI, 1.8 T, VR6, and 2.0.....boras you have the TDI, 1.6L, 2.0L, a 2.3L V5...but thats all i can really tell you

Nothing except engine options, and a few other things like NAV, and such.

I recently had to get a new engine for my 1.4 bora. Does anybody know if the ecu has to match up with the new engine?
