Default Buying new car option question
Can a new beetle be ordered from the factory with a diesel engine in a convertable ???

Sorry - No TDI option for Beetle Convertible in 2009 or 2010 model years.

Volkswagen has limited the number of TDI engines destined to the US. VWoA believes the Jetta is the best platform for these. Until diesel technology gains more widespread acceptance in North America, our allocation will be small compared to other markets.
