Default Do you think the dealership should be responsible for repairs?

I have a 2002 beetle and for some reason something is wrong with the controls for the air entering the car cabin. I never had an issue with it and a lot of people I tell have never heard of something happening like that. Well, everyone's been telling me that the dash needs to be removed and things need to be fixed with wires or whatever. Well, after a while it came to mind that I had taken my car in for a clutch replacement and they had fiddled around with the dash. I only noticed because they did a sloppy job on putting it back on b/c now it is loose (I haven't touched it either). They also didn't put the airbag cover on tight so it sticks out and I'm fairly disappointed. I live far from a dealership so now I have to make another trip out and have it all fixed but do you think they would take responsibility for messing up any mechanical issue that's behind the dash?

I would hold them responsible for it but, thing is you already left the shop with that problem and idk how long it's been scene you had them do that repair.
You can't do much about it if you let to much time pass by, they just say "It's your fault" or "It was bound to happen" etc etc
