o3 beetle wont start

Changed a water pump in my 03 tdi beetle. during the procces i moved the pully to the fuel injector a little bit. I didnt move any thing else. now it will turn over but wont start.now and then it acts like it wants to start but nothing.also i primed the fuel filter and the injector pump. thanks for any ideas

what pully to the fuel injectors are you talking about? Didnt know there was such thing. Are you talking about the timing belt gear?
