i recomend the VR6 i have a 90 g60 and have had nothing but problems. g60 usually have to have a new motor at around 180K miles. vr6's have been more reliable. this is just my personal opinion. not official.

Default corrado g60

i have a g60 and i would (myself) go with a g60. sure you have better low end power and torque but you got the added weight with the vr6. it all come down to you do what u want and don't let people sway you. just when you get one you do work and rep for us rado drivers.

If your looking for just a daily driver, I would go with the VR6. If your looking for a fun toy then I would go with the G60.

I think the G60 has a supercharger 4/cylinder

And the VR6 is a 6/cylinder

VR6 = 2.8l N/A 6CYL

1. Research before post please
2. g60 is going to be a lot more upkeep and have a lot more problems "usually with keeping boost due to crappy ducting"

i have a g60 and i would NOT recommend it for a DD...go with a vr6.

Default vr6 g60

Im getting ready to sell my 2000 vr6 jetta to get my 91 g-60 back in commision. Love the vr6 for many reasons hard decision to want to let go but was not as impressed with a vr6 as i was was with my cousins 1.8t and a g-60 in my opinion has a just as much potential as a vr6 In the end a g60 has a little sexier curvier body to it compared for the big vr6
