i was looking through some of my old eurotuners when i came across the 1990 Bahn Brenner 16v corrado, which is putting out 255hp...WHAT? a 16v putting out those numbers is just sick...plus it had a curb weight just over a ton..this car could have slayed any other car at the Eurotuner GP around willow springs..unfortunately it didnt get to compete cause an oil pump failed, however this was by far the most amazing corrado i had even seen grace the pages of eurotuner....thought id share it with you all..its in the Sept. 2003 issue...happy reading

I've seen it in person... after the 16v popped they built a supercharged 20v for it. It sounds pretty mean, but wasn't running right that weekend so they didn't get to make a pass. Momentums gold Golf from the Eurotuner GP was there as well as RPIs MK4 from the GP. The Momentum MK2 was nuts... low 11sec passes all day, and it's not a drag car.

Outside of the engine itself BBMs Corrado is a gutted pile. Not that I mind a gutted pile

255 isn't that much for a 16v... there's people out there with double that.

sweet...yeah your right that you can get more out of a 16v but it was one of the first examples of a force inducted 16v id seen...itd be awesome to see those cars in person, especially the Momentum GTI..i have a picture of it in my room, what a sweet car huh 550+ hp...ridiculous..either way..the corrado was still a pretty sweet ride
