You should learn a little (ok A LOT) more about the cars before you buy one, because you obviously have no idea about them.

Way to step right up and be an asshole. Did it make you feel special?

It was an assholish way to put it I agree. The corrado is a delicate beast that needs to be fed often and it eats $$$. It is however one of the best VWs ever made and IMHO most fun to drive. It is a good idea however to learn a lot about them before investing, so you can buy a good one right off the bat and probably save some $$ in the long run by anticipating some of the quirks you may run into.

For instance, if you decide to go the G60 route try and make sure the supercharger has been recently rebuilt by a reputable co. like BBM or Kompressor Kanada. If not you could be looking at $1000 repair in the near future.

As for the Vr, you should make sure the timing chains and clutch were done recently, because again that'll cost almost $1000.

These are only 2 examples of things to look out for, which may be the point that junkie was trying to make... It's good to do it right the first time instead of cleaning up a mess later.
