Default just got my 93 vr6, has no power brakes need trouble shooting!

just got my 1993 vr6, i instantly fell i love with the car when i first drove it. i have no power brakes though, it takes a lot of force to make the brakes work. my abs light is on so i think that that might be the reason but i dont know how to troubleshoot the problem or where to start to fix it. is the abs system on the corrado the as the passat?

Default brakes

it could be yur brake master cylinder which is located in front of the brake booster and it could be the brake booster on yur car the brake booster alows for 5 times the pressure so when it goes out yur having to pump the brakes to get the same amount of pressure u would have if the brake booster was still working abs just controlls wheel slip so when one wheel is slipping it takes away power from that wheel and disperses it to the other wheels and slows that wheel down
