Default Lysholm Silencer Kit

Hey guys,
I just picked up a pretty nice 90 G60 with 85,000 miles and a recent BBM Lysholm charger kit (has about 3000 mi since was installed).

Just wondering if anyone had personaly heard one that had been updated with BBM's silencer kit. Didn't want to spend the $ on it if it didn't cut the whine down like they say it will. Otherwise im sure ill be going through a few earplugs

The BBM silencer kit will cut down the noise quite a bit although you will still be able to hear it.

At idol its almost scilent, but at WOT its def audiable... Slightly louder then a VF kit all around.

Yeah its about as obnoxious as the straight cut cam gears I had in my old street bug

I probably will keep it unscilenced but just want to know I can quiet it down if it starts to bug.

If it were my car I would definitely get it. That whine is unbearable in a car that you drive on a regular basis. I would say there is no question that you will want it for a daily driver. That Lysholm is absolutely ridiculous. The design is amazing. The power and efficiency is unmatchedl. Unfortunately those roots style rotors are huge = hella loud whine. Positives and Negatives to everything. I say give the silencer a go. You will still hear it, but it will make it bareable for a daily driver.
