Default my corrado!

hai guiz,

So, I noticed there are ABSOLUTELY no other threads in the corrado section. I figured I'd post up my newly aquired rado.

I got a super good deal on it, and it is in fairly good condition. It made it on a 4 hour trip home, with no problems...

Here are a few pictures of it:

Ugh, hoodpins.

Holy miles

I found this in the glove box, along with the manuals. Pretttyy neat.

This what I want it to look like, eventually.

The previous owner had it for about 5 years, he got it from a dealership, and he said he got it at 209k It was repainted about a year ago, and still looks perfect. I have yet to find any rust. I have no idea if the timing chains have been done but I don't hear any noise. Its been sitting for quite awhile so I'm sure it could use a tune up. I hate the tail lights but luckily I got the OEM ones with it (along with a big box of extra parts) Sofar ive gotten a thermosat kit (tstat, housing, crackpipe, coolant, gaskets etc) tie rod assemblys, a drivers side window regulator/motor, the seatbelt motor and track, and a new grille. I still need plugs/wires, coolant hoses (some are bulging), coilovers, and adapters for my phone dials. Since I now have 4 cars to keep up with its probably going to be a slow process but I am loving the rado sofar. I'll continue to update with my progress!

Wait, a VR6 Corrado made a 4 hour trip with no problem? I call shenanigans.

Nice Rado, though!

For a high mileage vr6 its been great. Ive been dailying it with no problems sofar. Other then a very small coolant leak from the tstat housing :/ Its just too cold to swap out the housing right now.

Nice Rado, though!

Well mine made it 8 hours into Mexico then lost all compression in the block and now my pockets are empty.
