Default new guy one question

wasup guys im new to the forum i want to say hello to all members on here. I got one quick quesition. Im thinking about picking up a 1993 or 1994 corrado from a local dealer and im thinking about modding the car so i have a nice weekend car. Right now i drive a 1988 audi 80 5 speed which is my daily driver. The question is how much hp can you get out of the vr6 motors without turbo or supercharger. I like all motor power more than turbo and supercharger so what kind of numbers am i looking at if the motor gets modded out as much as it can go.

The amount of power you can extract from a motor is in direct proportion to the thickness of your billfold - and what type of power you're looking for - max horsepower (very high RPM - everything lightened) gives great numbers but's typically miserable to drive - max torque (lower RPM, higher compression) - no where near as impressive on paper - but shoves you back into the seat in an impressive way -

Define the power you want - then start checking out what others have hit - and for how much - on a normally aspirated VR -

Then start writing checks!
