Default 73 baja fuel pump

can a fuel pump be cleaned or repaired?? or is replacement the only option??
Ive got new fuel lines and filters but low fuel pressure. At idle it runs great but in drive I NEED TO PUNCH THE GAS to keep 'er going.

Thanks

Welcome
Some can be cleaned if it has a screw or screws in the top. Did you check the pressure with a gauge or just guessing?

If you throw enough parts at it will eventually get fixed
There is also a screen inside the tank at the outlet. Do you get a good flow out of there when the hose is off?
