Default 77 Bus won't shift in to 3 or 4 or R

I havent drivin my bus in over a week and when I drove it today it did not want to go in to R, 3, or 4. If anyone knows how to fix this problem Please let me know. Thanks

Eeeek that sounds to be tranny related my friend. Not much can go wrong with the the Air-cooled engine. Either tranny, clutch or flywheel is off.

check the alignment of your shifter relative to the linkage (in the tunnel) - then check the linkage to make sure the joints are tight and aligned correctly - this could be really minor if you're lucky -

2 Places to look for shifter coupler and the motor mounts at the transmission to the frame. If this is broken it will allow the tranny to shift up and down .
