Auto stick conversion
Hey everyone,
I'm planning an autostick conversion to 4spd manual for my 69 bug. I know the clutch tube is there. Any other concerns I should worry about? Specifically do I need a shorter or longer drive shaft due to the skinnier flywheel that the manual has as opposed to the thicker drive plate of the autostick?
Also, switching out the two part oil pump with the standard oil pump, does that take care of plugging the vacuum system or are there other things required.
Any and all info would be appreciated. Help on steps would be great to. I'm pretty sure I can do it, just maybe need a little guidance and the old haynes manual isn't going have this job in it.
