Default crankcase pressure

Hi Everyone !!! Just drove my '77 Westy from CA to NC and developed a couple oil leaks on the way...fixed most of them except the top of the PCV device which is now spouting oil out the little pinhole on top like a drowning whale (about a quart every 250 miles)...appears to have excessive amount of crankcase pressure tho' there is no blockage of the hose to the intake. The 2.0 fi engine has only 8,000 miles on new pistons, rings, cylinders, and heads ! Any suggestions would be a great help, I'm at my wit's end !!! Thanks! Neal
