Hey everyone just want to say thanx for putting up such a great forum glad to be here should have signed up sooner. I have a 71 ghia and, I GOTTA SAY AIR COOLED IS THE WAY TO GO.

Welcome to VWForum! We seem to be getting alot more air-cooled people here lately.
I was tempted to buy a Ghia last year, but it needed too much body work for my skills. Post some pics of yours.

Ghia's were/are cool - they look great (in my humble opinion) with nerf bars in the front and "T" bars in the back (instead of the stock bumpers) is yours a hard top or soft top?
I've been eyeballing one locally for a couple years - thinking about it dechromed, set of vintage "empi" wheels, painted flat black with an 1835 or a 2180 under the hood - hmm - might have to go make the guy an offer on it tomorrow .....
