Super beetle frame head
Hey all, I am building a tricked out '67 beetle. I am going to mount it on a '69 or '70 beetle chassis, to get the IRS suspension. Here is what I am wondering: can I bolt up the frame head from a super beetle, and us that front suspension system? or is the front suspension where the SB got it's extra couple inches? Thanks.

you'd have to take the whole pan, from the firewall forward, and a considerable part of the body as well, to mate them up. The old style standard beetle beam front end is far superior to the superbeeltes struts - the SB was a case of lousy engineering -
