Tow Bar for Super Beetle

I have a towbar for my 1970 regular beetle which has been a lifesaver not to mention a dollar saver. I also have a Super Beetle and of course this tow bar will not work on the Super due to the MacPherson Struts. Has any one found a way to modify the older Beetle towbar to fit BOTH the Super Beetle and the older Beetle in order NOT to have to buy 2 Towbars???? Thanks

You can get a super beetle towbar for about 100 bucks. It is totally different than the regular beetle. it has a plate that mounts to the frame head and two pins that attach to the towbar.

Thanks I sold the Super so I saved $100! Still have my 1970 Bug and have a tow bar for it
