Well, after 4 months, I finally got my adapter back from a Blitzsafe RMA. Problem is, I traded the Jetta in 2 months ago so I can't use it any more.
![]() Anywho, I was sent a brand new one as apparently the one I bought was boinked. The adapter is the VW/M-link1 V5 and the holder is the Proclip 840640. It works on 2002.5 through 2007 VWs with a CD changer port, Monsoon or not. It also works on 2007 and up Audi A4's. It doesn't lock out the controls of the Ipod so the holder is a nice addition. It also allows you to slide the Ipod in and out with one hand because the cable does not get locked in. There's a DIY on Vortex to make a $2.00 bracket mount from Home Depot for the Proclip which I followed and works perfectly. Pic of the items: Here's links to both products on Enfig's site: Adapter: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shop....html Mount: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shop....html Retail for both of these would be about 120.00. I'll let them go for 90.00 plus shipping and Paypal fees.
