It’s been a few months since Volkswagen revealed its updated 2013 CC model, and now the German automaker has added the sporty, R-Line as an available trim level.
The more aggressive and sporty CC R-Line comes with a new front bumper sporting larger intakes and bigger fog lights, new side skirts, tinted taillights, R-badging on the grille and 18-inch wheels on all four corners. The interior gets a few accessories as well with stainless steel pedals and doorsill plates with R-Line branding.
The R-Line variant also makes several options standard, including rain-sensing windshield wipers, heated 12-way power front seats, and those with the six-speed automatic gets paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The CC R-Line does have a manual transmission option and is powered by the standard 2.0-liter turbo-four with 200-hp.
No pricing has been released yet, we expect to hear numbers when the R-Line makes it to America later this year.
