I dont have a 1.8T, but I know a lot of you guys/girls have them. just thought you vwf'ers (hehehe) would like that. I might have to check it out.

The 1.8T Challenge is scheduled for July 17-18 at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. The first day of testing includes dyno testing and road course competitions. Day two consists of the drag strip competition and the recognition of the Ultimate 1.8T and individual category winners. The competition has two classes, Tuner Class, for professional VW/Audi tuners (scheduled to compete are: ABD Racing, Advanced Motorsport Solutions/ABT, Audi Performance and Racing/APR, CEC/Oettinger, Matrix Engineering, Momentum Tuning, Neuspeed, Performance Engineered Systems/PES and RPI Equipped, Trac Racing,) and the Enthusiast Class, for the enthusiast owner.

The Ultimate 1.8T and category-winning cars will be prominently displayed at Waterfest and will be featured in the December issue of european car.

That's sweet. I wonder how many VW's will get hit and crushed during that Amateur Race.

You guys do know that waterfest is july 19th and 20th right .At the same place ,it is a whole vw weekend.Yeeessss

Front what i have read. this thing is not public. it's a private thing so unless your in the comp, your not going to it. I could be wrong though!!
