Carlisle Sucked!

Here is my report on Carlisle.

Each year this show get's bigger and bigger. With that more and more crap is there. From a dubbers view this show sucked. Let's start with the traffic. It took nearly 1.5 hours just to get from the exit into the fairgrounds. Next we get to the gate and look at the crowd we look at each other and go WOW this is huge. Probably bigger than last year.



We start walking around meet up with Harry & Mark. With ran through the vendor areas. Overall the selection was poor. It was basically 6 rows of the same shit. Fart cans, batmobile body kits and decals. So we keep walking to get to see some dubs.

We ran into BoostedBora and his killer ride. Got to snap off some nice pics car looks better and better each time.



Procceed into the showfield. This was a joke the cars were all over the place in no order or it seemed this way. You would have a WRX, then a Jetta then a Honda? WTF? I would say 90% of the cars there were shit. BLING BLING for a lack of better terms. The quality of most of the cars was just poor.



I will honestly say I will not be going to CCC next year. Now don't get me wrong there was handfull of clean dubs there. But the shows standards have been set so high by many (inc. me) you just expect a higher quality show.

I would have to agree, I was actually pretty bored, I was so sick of seeing the same old honda with the same old paint job with the same ugly aluminum wing with the same rims and the same seats and the same dumb kid driving it. Get the point? I'll be there again today just to hang out with a friend of mine. Damn I can't wait til waterfest, now THATS a show.

yeah i'd agree with the poor organization of cars. i was in the non judged showfield and i thought i'd atleast be able to park by the other dubs but i was parked in bum f*ck next to ghetto ricer cars and shit. i was impressed with boostedbora ride [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] the rest of the show sucked. the titties and burnouts were the high lite of the show definately...

i though there was nothing special done to boosted boras car..was alright but i wouldn't drive it..

yeah sounds great Boosted Bora. man, i like the car and the paint rocks! i am glad that i didnt buy a plain ticket and fly my ass over there for some crap show. i dont know if you guys have heard of it, but Waterwagens is the only real dub show over here that i know of. i went last year and was there for like 4 hours. i sould have taken some pics, and if i can go this year, i will.

naw man carlisle had ALOT of unique dubs.. i was there.. i thought it rocked.. just go to importwars for a better show
