Dub and Rub -2009 information

June seems so far away...but we are just so excited about the show that we wanted to keep everyone who came last year (and those who wanted to but couldn't make it) up on what's happening with Dub and Rub!
Eventually we want to get a website up and rolling, but for now we've started a blog. It's still in it's early days, but we're working on it!

9AM-Noon registration
How Much: $10 donation to register, $1 for spectators
*children under 12 free
Goodie bags, one per registered show car, are first come and until they run out. We'll have t-shirts for sale again. Raffle tickets and 50/50 will also be sold.

We've changed it up a bit from last year, we're inviting Audi's to show along with all our VW friends! We changed up the "classes" some by creating a 1st and 2nd place for the following:

All Natural: Daily drivers
Best Cleavage: Best display
Best Topless: Convertibles
Perkiest: High performance
Inner Beauty: Overall interior
Junk in the Trunk: Stereo system
Most Supportive: Most supportive of breast cancer awareness
Saggiest: Lowest

This year, Twin Grove will be dishing up the food in the pavilion. There is a restaurant and ice cream parlor within easy walking of the field. An amusement park and mini golf course are also accessible. Bathroom facilities are luxurious and also within walking distance. It's a pet friendly crew, just bring them leashed.

We are hoping to have enough sponsorship that ALL the money raised this year will go to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk!

June is quickly approaching. We got the fliers back from the printers, and they're pretty snazzy.
We have 2 sponsors so far, HA Boyd VW in Lebanon PA and AP Tuning also in Lebanon PA.
With sponsors we can donate more money to the Making Strides Walk, and less money will go to paying the bills!! Thanks again to Scott, Mike and Sue!

DUB AND RUB--VW/Audi Show and Shine

Last year Brian Yohn created our t-shirt design and we loved it. This year, we had an unexpected offer from a graphic artist out in Arizona. He wanted to donate his talent and create a t-shirt for us for this years show. Well it is done, and we think it's pretty cool. He incorporated last years design in the background because HE loved it so much.
I can't see to post the actual picture, but if you click on the link to my blog you'll be able to see it.

We still have some of last year's t-shirts left too. Only in Medium, Large and XLarge. They'll be $10 at the show. If you can't make the show and want a shirt, let me know and we'll work out via paypal and the mailman!

I know the world does not reolve around Dub N Rub...at least that's what Jason's been telling me...but there are only 46 days left until the show!

There are so many shows between now and then though, and Jay & I can't make them all...so we've been sending out flyers to people who want to help us distribute them!
Dripfest and DATB are covered.

We should be ordering the t-shirts this weekend...if you haven't yet, take a look at our blog to see what they're going to look like. The blog is being updated pretty consistantly now that there are actually things happening. We're still looking for items for our goodie bags, so if you have a business and want some free advertising Shoot me an email, and we'll get rolling.

It's about two weeks away, and things are tightening up here at Dub N Rub central...a.k.a a corner of the garage
The t-shirts should be here next week, Airhead hopefully is shipping out the bags this week.
We are going to have vinyl cut for us, and I need to call two or three companies to see if they'll have anything for us.
Never buy a house in the 20 days leading up to your car show!
Can't wait to see you there.

sorry about the delay in getting info out...It's been a crazy crazy weekend.

So it rained, a lot on Saturday. A lot. But we had 40 registered cars and raised $1100. VERY AMAZING.
Thank you everyone who braved the weather.
LostDogPhotos.com will be posting the pictures they took of the show on their website, and then if you order pictures through them, the proceeds will go towards the walk.
