Import wars

I went to import wars today and wasn't really too impressed. You had to walk through all of the jap cars to get to the vw's. And i thought the dubs would have a better showing. Som really nice ones i just thought there would be more. I met Brian(silvergti) and Team speed and sound. Both with nice cars. I met Dave and saw his car, (I liked mini me Hahaha.) And it rained up untill my son got fussy so we went home and before we got there the sun came out. [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] I hate when that happens. Well i met some of the vwf peeps and ordered my vwf member decals. So it wasn't a total waste of time. Hopfully next year i'll show and there will be some more dubs. Somebody might have pics of the cars that were there.

well yes we did meet and i took alot of pics (only of the VW's)didn't wanna waist the space on my digital fer anything else..lol

yes it was a fun weekend even with the rain this morning. it was awesome to finally meet up with fellow forum members. i'd like to thank brian once again for hosting the gtg sat nite. i had a good time hangnin out with the guys. i think it would be pretty cool to possibly set up another gtg over the summer if possible. by the way did any forum members bring home any trophies or awards???

Chris was that your jetta with the primer on the doors? I thought it kinda looked like it but i didn't get a chance to stop and talk to you. I didn't get a chance to go to the gtg. It would be great if there would be another one somtime. Later

I thought it was a good show. I only walked throught the rice a little. but their were some really nice dubs there. jettablitzkreig's system was SICK SICK SICK!!! the forum members represented with their nice clean dubs. it was good to meet all of you guys and girls. (zach, chris, brett, keith, harry, mark, jessie, boosted bora (didnt catch your name), matt-aka big dong, jettablitzkreig(didnt catch your name either)). sorry if I missed anyone, but I had a good time. It was cool to see the ones who came to the gtg. thanks for coming, and will see you at waterfest, if not sooner.

I know db has some and i have some also. I didn't get home till 11ish last night so i really didn't feel like resizing everything. I'll post all the VWF rides i took tonight.

It was good to meet you. I was also pretty impressed with the turnout of dubs, and I hope next year is even better.

We should all get together for the VW Power Jam in Maple Grove. I went last year and there were about 100-150 dubs and audi's plus a drag race event. I will definately be there racing this year. Last year was 1/8 mile, but this year is 1/4 mile. Here is a link.

I had a great time meeting and hanging out with everyone from the forum.I could not stay for the end of the show but I was wondering when are they going to tell us what we rated in the show?Did any of the forum members get a trophy?
