I am a new member to the VW forum. I am business partners with Karl Poeltl. Our shop is European Auto Garage (http://www.europeanautogarage.com/.). We host a "Cars and Coffee" gathering the 1st Saturday on a bi-monthly basis. Our next gathering is March 7th. We had 85 cars at our last gathering including some great classic VW's and several new ones. We'd like to invite everyone to the next event. You can see photos on our web site.
Also, we're working with the Smoky Mountain Porsche Club to sponsor a five event autocross series open to all European Manufacturers and the Mini built by BMW. Please pm me for more information.
