Here's my thoughts about the show. I really think the rain held alot of people from showing up. Once the rain let up and the sun came out alot of people started to show up. This was only the second year for it and once the word gets out more and more top quality cars will be coming. This show wasn't just for VW even though VW had their own section. I thought there was a good VW showing there. I would say there was at lease 60+ VW's there. Some were real nice while others your wondering what the hell they were thinking, but you'll get that at any car show. I had a great time meeting everyone this weekend.
Well here are a couple of pics i took. I have about 70 others that i need to send to db for him to post it up. db's new shoes. The VWF Tent. A 25th GTI #84 Some of the VWF Crew jon [ May 18, 2003: Message edited by: Bora2021 ] |

I wanted to thank all of the VWF crew that came out to support Import War; this year was 100% better than last year. Next year will be even better. I will be posting pics of the show later today...stay tuned. Special thanks goes out to:
Jon, Rich, Mark, Harry, Zach for helping out with the stand during the day. It was great to see so many other faces as well. Hope everyone had a safe trip home. Espically Brett that drove 7 hours to see our ugly mugs |

IW was the shit. it was nice to finally hang out with some of the people from VWF. The show was alright, tons of rice though as expceted, but the vw section was alright. it would of been alot better if there were more dubs but there were some nice rides.
Brian thanks for letting Rich and I stay at your house. I had a great time at the bar-bq and the night before. and dave it was cool covering the VWF tent for you. all and all it was a great trip and i can't wait for the next show. |
